Pauline Hall

何堃嘉博士是一位卓越的臨床心理學家, 實踐循證療法, 如認知行為療法、正念心理療法、佛教心理療法和情感聚焦療法等方面的專長。 她不僅因其豐富的臨床經驗和把東方佛學理念與臨床心理治療結合的創新方法而備受讚譽,還在處理抑鬱症、焦慮症和精神分裂症等複雜疾病方面取得了顯著的成就。

 

自2012年起,何博士在香港的主要非政府組織、醫院和康復中心積極貢獻自己的工作。目前她除了在澳洲私人機構執業, 亦會參與慈善和非牟利的活動。

 

 何博士自2006年起開始傳統正念訓練,跟隨不同的佛學老師學習。她曾經主持不同的正念課程和工作坊,還有七天至十天的退修和閉關課程,也在不同的學術會議上面展示她的研究成果, 例如在 2023 APA Convention發表以早期佛教融入心理治療的實例。 在2024年,她亦接受了美國 2024 National Multicultural Conference and Summit的邀請,將會繼續發表她的研究結果。

 

在臨床實踐中,何博士專注於為兒童、青少年和成人提供發展障礙的循証評估,包括智力障礙、注意力缺陷多動障礙、自閉症譜系障礙、情緒和焦慮障礙等。 她還精於治療精神分裂症及創傷後壓力症( PTSD ),情緒和焦慮障礙,曾在學校、醫院、社區衞生服務機構、法院、企業和私人診所等多種場合工作。

 

何博士是澳洲 AHPRA和新西蘭心理學家委員會 NZPB註冊的臨床心理學家 ,是澳洲心理學會( APS )及APS臨床心理學家學院會員。 何博士也是AHPRA認可的督導,能為註冊課程作首席督導,專業領域為臨床心理學。

 

2024年,何博士將加入美國Illumination of Mindfulness Institute,擔任客座教授,進一步突顯她對該領域的承諾和作為臨床心理學先驅者的角色。 她的開創性工作和深厚的奉獻精神,使她不僅是一位成就卓著的實踐者,更是該領域的先驅。

研究工作

循證佛教心理治療

Dr Hall 目前正在研究以早期佛教理論為基礎的佛教心理治療。她研究了早期佛教的手稿,並將該理論應用於心理治療實踐。儘管工作量龐大,但該研究仍處於初始狀態。然而,病人的回饋表明結果是深遠的,並且對憂鬱症、焦慮症、強迫症和精神病患者有效。研究成果經美國Alliant國際大學批准。
